Sarah Taylor

Double Bass

Sarah Taylor is a junior undergraduate student at the Crane School of Music and is enjoying her student apprenticeship with the Orchestra of Northern New York! She is a double major in Music Education and Double Bass Performance. Originally from Rochester, NY, Sarah is a former student of Gaelen McCormick and currently studies under John Geggie. Some of her favorite performances with the Orchestra of Northern New York include Mendelssohn's 4th Symphony and Brahms' 4th Symphony. Sarah currently is preparing recitals to complete her undergraduate degree and preparing for graduate school auditions, where she hopes to earn a Master's degree in Double Bass Performance.
